Certification Process and Timelines
|September 30th||registrations close|
|October 4th/5th||invites to reserve a seat go out from Prometric|
|October 25th||prerequisites are due (ACLM live in-person CMA excluded)|
|November 25th||exam weeks start|
|December 10th||exam weeks close|
|December 23rd||exam results are published|
|January 1st||MOC intake opens|
|March 31st||MOC intake closes|
Register for the exam, following the prompts, including payment. Please note that if you do not pay, you are not registered.
Receive an invite from Prometric post close of registrations to reserve a seat at a center of your choice, on a day of your choice during exam weeks
Upload your prerequisites to the database. Please note that you do not have to have your prerequisites ready to register for the exam
The deadline for the prerequisite upload is October 25th, 30 days before the exam weeks start. Please note that the ACLM conference live in-person CME are exempt from this deadline.
The ABLM team reviews and approves your prerequisites and either asks for rectification or gives you the “all clear”
Sit for the exam at a Prometric testing center
Receive the exam results
Sign up for the alternative MOC pathway if you don’t want to re-sit for the exam in 10 years
